About Our Academy Program
Pine Valley is a unique school in a community environment located in the community of Pine Valley, 30 miles east of San Diego. Our campus is spread out among the community of Pine Valley. Pine Valley Academy has middle school and high school programs where students have a blend of on campus instruction with credentialed teachers and work at home days each week. Pine Valley’s emphasis is cultivating character in order to prepare students to become global citizens. Students are involved in community service, field trips, ASB, and hands-on learning activities. Pine Valley has a schoolyard habitat program that has been certified as a wildlife habitat. We recycle community refuse with our worm project, as well as collect and recycle glass, aluminum, and paper. Pine Valley Academy is known for being a caring environment where students of all levels can excel.
Winter Project: Project Week
Students pick a project from a favorite area of focus including Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Community Service, or Passion Project. Students then complete an in-depth project choosing one of many options from the project week website including an option to design their own project. Our project galleries showcasing the wonderful learning is a favorite annual event.

Schedule
Students attend classes 2-4 days a week, Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-3:30pm. Friday is a home study day.
Our doors open at 8:00 am for drop off. Class days vary depending on the grade level, classes, and the level of support that is needed.
