Welcome to JCS Pine Valley Charter School
JCS Pine Valley is a TK-12 public charter school sponsored by MEUSD. We have both a home study program and an academy program. TK-12 home study families meet regularly with a credentialed teachers to go over assignments and curriculum. There are a variety of opportunities and resources available. Academy students attend classes 2 days per week and have assignments to complete at home the other days of the week. Students and services are spread out throughout San Diego County. For all students TK-12 we encourage global awareness and strive to step into the world around us through field trips and activities. Students have the opportunity to play intramural sports with JCS or high school sports with Mountain Empire High School.

Our School Theme
Our school’s theme is cultivating character. Our students are very involved in community events, community service, recycling, responsible stewardship of nature, and school events.
JCS Pine Valley serves students in grades TK through 12th, and offers three unique programs giving parents choice in the amount of time their students spend in the classroom and at home. In the Academies, students attend up to four days a week, with Friday as a learn at home day. While in the Home Study program, a student learns at home under the guidance of a parent with optional Friday learning centers and field trips. Credentialed teachers create assignments, oversee the learning, and provide instruction in all of our programs.
